Personalized Coffee Mugs – How Do I Love Thee? lease Me equate a habits
Thursday, January 28th, 2010My mother asked me to look for a set of matching coffee mugs for a Christmas gift. We have always had mismatching mugs, and it would be nice to be able to give her a set of beautiful, matching, handmade mugs.
She tends to like shades of green.
Please send me pictures of your work and ideas.
Thank you!
Bonus: My father collects b's (bumble and/or the letter b) , so it would be a nice touch if there could be an additional mug that incorporated a bumble bee or the letter B. Some ideas would be painting a bee, shaping the handle into the shape of a b, etc. I consider this an extra request, so please feel free to bid without this bonus. I will also pay extra.
Thanks again!
MEXICO CITY – The Mexican government says it has notified Starbucks Corp. that Mexico is owed intellectual property rights for a line of coffee mugs showing pre-Hispanic images.
Starbucks says it is working with Mexico to resolve the issue as quickly as possible. It says the mugs have been removed from its shop shelves pending the discussions.
The mugs show images of the Aztec calendar stone and the Pyramid of the Moon from the pre-Aztec ruins of Teotihuacan, near Mexico City.
The government archaeological agency said Wednesday it will decide by next week whether Starbucks should pay any fees.
A company statement says the supplier of the mugs felt it made good faith efforts to offer payment and obtain permits.
